A good client brought in this problematic 1965 Mustang he had recently purchased off eBay. After fixing the body damage and giving it a beautiful green BASF Glasurit paint job, we sorted out all the mechanical problems for him.

  • Year: 1965
  • Make: Ford
  • Model: Mustang
  • Submodel: Fastback
  • Color: Green
  • Interior: Black

The motor is a 331 stroker and uses a Vortech V1 trim supercharger. The motor has Edelbrock heads, a roller cam, roller rockers and a Holley Systemax intake. We did a lot of custom work to the front runner system on the car to be able to run AC and also the supercharger. The transmission is a World Class T5.

The suspension is comprised of coil over shocks all the way around with a Mustang II style rack and pinion up front and a 4-link in the rear. The car uses Wilwood 6 piston calipers up front and Wilwood big 2 piston calipers in the rear. The wheels are Ford Racing FR500’s

The paint job was done on the show using all BASF Glasurit paint which included that killer looking custom mixed green! We did all new body work before paint, and the clear coat has 5 layers of clear which have been sanded free of orange peel. The hood was done in the Shelby style and had a ton of work to make it fit properly to the body.
