1959 MGA — Rotisserie Restored, Upgraded MG B Power, Beautifully Finished
This 1959 MGA is presented in Teal over a tan interior and has undergone a complete rotisserie restoration. Every major system, surface, and component was addressed to create a fresh, reliable, and highly detailed example.
Interior
The cabin features all-new paint, restored factory gauges, re-covered seats, new door panels, and fresh carpeting throughout. The dash padding and door armrest pads have been restored, and the banjo-style steering wheel has been stripped and refinished. Dash knobs have been correctly repainted with crisp new white lettering. The wiring harness is entirely new front to back.
Powertrain
Power comes from a later 5-bearing 1.8L MG B engine, offering approximately 10 additional horsepower over the original MGA unit. It is paired with the more robust MG B 4-speed transmission. Both the engine and gearbox were professionally rebuilt during the restoration. The car is equipped with a Pierce intake, Weber carburetor with electric choke, and a stainless-steel exhaust system.
Exterior
The body received a full bare-metal refinish and two-stage paint that has been properly sanded and buffed to a high gloss. The front and rear bumpers, grille, and windshield frame have all been re-chromed, and the windshield itself is new. All rubber seals and gaskets throughout the car were replaced as part of the restoration.
Chassis, Steering & Brakes
The braking and steering systems were comprehensively restored, including a new master cylinder plus all new lines and hoses. The front brakes have been upgraded to a disc-brake setup, while the original-style drums remain at the rear. The car rides on restored original wire wheels with knock-offs, fitted with brand-new tires.
