1932 Ford Roadster Coupe
There may be no car more identifiable with Hot Rodding culture than the 1932 Ford. These iconic cars saw their rise to fame in the 1940's when enthusiasts started stripping weight, increasing power and souping up the Fords with any parts they could get their hands on.
This beautiful 1932 Ford Roadster built using an American Street Rod body that features 2" stretched doors and a rolled pan. The chassis is a detailed thing of beauty and is adorned with a Heidts Open Wheel IFS and a Heidts Super Ride independent rear end with a Currie 350 posi traction unit and Jaguar-style rear brakes. The roadster cruises on a set of Pro-Billet adjustable shocks and really holds its own on the highway. The steering system is comprised of a Flaming River Stainless tilt column and a Flaming River Rack and Pinion front end. The Deuce rides on American Racing wheels that measure 15"x6"in the front and 17"x10" in the rear and the tires are tried and true BFG radials.
The body is tight and right and features a Hagan hood, 1934 truck headlights and extra bright and shinny PPG Hot Licks Red paint. It's seen a lot hand finishing, machine polishing and is complimented by the expertly finished custom interior. The gauges are done by Classic Instruments, an industry-leader in high end gauges. They do the rest of the high-end parts in the build justice, the whole time providing accurate readings. The Roadster has a Secret Audio stereo complete with remote control, CD changer, and a Lokar shifter and Lokar pedals.
Powering the '32 is a 355 CI engine with Wiseco pistons, a Comp Cam, Edelbrock Victor Jr. heads, Stainless valves, Crower rockers, and MSD distributor, a Steward pump and block-hugger headers. Cooling the motor is a Walker radiator with an electric fan and adjustable thermostat. The motor really rips making a stout 400 HP which really moves this car as you can probably imagine! No money was left on the table with the transmission and the builder used a Bowties Overdrive 700R4 with a 2400 stall converter. This thing is awesome around town and provides an excellent highway cruising gear, the perfect pairing for the 3.50 rear posi rear end especially with the aluminum driveshaft. Feeding the motor is an 18 gallon custom aluminum fuel tank with an electric pump.
This show car really "goes" so don't miss out on a quality built ride with the look and all of the right parts.
