This 1956 Chevy Big Window pick up was the recipient of a frame off restoration built to be a rock solid cruiser with plenty of pep to boot-or, should we say "boost"?
The big block Chevy motor is a supercharged beast that really gets up and runs when you mash the pedal. Keeping the temperature in check is an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. We haven’t seen temps over 190 degrees driving in 100 degree weather with 90% humidity. The transmission is a built Turbo 350 and the posi-trac rear end transmits all of those 500 horsies to the rear tires. The Chevy comes equipped with power steering and 4 wheel disc brakes. The Torque Thrusts give the truck a nice hotrod look and the BFG tires provide a solid and modern ride.
The interior is a custom job that includes a set of very nice VDO gauges, a rockin’ amplified sound system, power windows, billet trim accessories and dual power seats. Exterior compliments include slick orange paint, billet grille, a beautiful wooden bed, and a very clean engine compartment with aftermarket inner fenders. The under carriage is immaculate with no shortage of that bright orange paint.
