1957 Chevrolet 3100
This 1957 Chevy 3100 has been on the road just 650 miles since it was treated to a frame-off restoration. This rock solid California truck has an all steel body with a fiberglass hood and an extra clean wood bed. The panel fit on the truck is excellent and the sides are dead-on straight. All frame and suspension components were media blasted during the restoration and refinished in GM semi gloss black. The front subframe is a Camaro SS unit with a nice set of power disc brakes. All of the stainless trim is brand new as is the sparkling chrome. The interior is a nice custom job with a very slick dash fitted with Stewart Warner gauges and just two billet knobs for the lights and the windshield wipers. A Kenwood CD player has been neatly tucked away in the glove box and can hook right up to your iPod or link up to satellite radio. There are two speakers in the kick panels and a small sub under the seat. The windows are power, as are the beautifully refinished seats, which were sourced out of a Tahoe. Very comfortable to say the least! Don't forget about the custom door panels, custom head liner and trick side mirrors. Special attention was paid to the engine compartment, where we find a nicely placed 454 crate engine. The beautiful shine of the exterior has been carried over into the engine compartment where the firewall, inner fenders and air cleaner all have a nicely polished finish. Absent is the usual mess of wiring and excessive rubber hose fiasco leaving the engine as the stand out focus of the engine compartment. Even the power brake unit has been relocated underneath the cab. The truck is a pleasure to drive and runs nice and cool courtesy of the aluminum radiator and electric fan. She is a cinch to handle with the assistance of the power steering and power brake units and even rides out nicely on the highway.
Whether you are headed to the show, or just looking for the cleanest cruiser around, this 1957 Chevy 3100 makes the team%u2014just don't let someone else snatch her up before you do.
