This 1955 Chevy Custom Truck has just 1,300 miles since an impeccable total frame off restoration. The builder of this tastefully constructed custom truck used a multitude of new parts and we have a giant stack of receipts from the build. The suspension on the ’55 is comprised of a TCI 4 link rear kit and a Mustang II front end with TCI updated control arms and Air Ride on all 4 corners. The Chevy drives more like a modern car than a cumbersome old truck and the front power disc brake combined with a Right Stuff 7" dual diaphragm booster do an excellent job bringing the truck to a halt. The ride height is adjustable with an Air Ride system which is operated via tastefully integrated controls located under the front seat right next to the Kenwood radio and the Vintage Air heater controls. The tucked away controls smooth out the look of the interior and keep the dash clutter free.

The engine is a 454 with dual Edelbrocks capped with a Weiland 671 blower that is attached to a 700R4 tranny with a 2200-2600 stall converter. This little ’55 jumps off the line and the motor is tuned for cruising, not the 1/4 mile, so she runs cool and reliably.

Supplementing the slick orange paint are shaved door handles, recessed antennae, oak bed complete with stainless trim and fuel hatch, side exhaust pipes and impeccably finished undercarriage. The entire frame has been powder coated which will yield in a much longer lasting finish than conventional paint. The builder used Spal door poppers to operate the doors from the outside and conventional handles on the interior.

Whether you want hit the road, or the show circuit, this truck and both a crowd pleaser and a blast to drive.
