1948 Lincoln Continental

A project which began as a one off automobile for Edsel Ford to drive to his summer home in 1939 ultimately took on a much larger life, when affluent friends began requesting examples for themselves.

The Lincoln Continental has had a very long and illustrious history as a distinguished American automobile, and was no less so in 1948 when only 847 Continentals were produced and the very last 200 of the V12 equipped cars rolled out of production.

This absolutely exceptional Continental is not merely one of 847 Continentals manufactured in 1948, nor just one of the final 200 V12s assembled in that year, nor is it simply one of only eight automobiles considered by the Museum of Modern Art to be true works of art, but this absolutely irreplaceable Lincoln is also the Classic Car Club of America, Junior, Senior, and Premier award winning credentials.

Finished in stunning Black with black leather interior, power windows, radio, clock, three speed manual transmission, 292cid 130hp Flathead V12, some of the most exquisite Art Deco styling in automotive history, and so much more.

true Lincoln enthusiast, or Continental Maven needs little more-this is among the most collectible cars to become available to any serious collector at any time. This is without question the one!
