A project which began as a one off automobile for Edsel Ford to drive to his summer home in 1939 ultimately took on a much larger life, when affluent friends began requesting examples for themselves.

The Lincoln Continental has had a very long and illustrious history as a distinguished American automobile, and was no less so in 1948 when only 847 Continentals were produced and the very last 200 of the V12 equipped cars rolled out of production.

Finished in gorgeous and extremely rare Maroon with red and tan interior, power windows, radio, clock, three speed manual transmission, 292cid 130hp Flathead V12, exquisite Art Deco styling, and more; this very special Continental coupe is a masterpiece in the art of transportation, and is among the most important cars produced in the near post-war period.

This exceptionally handsome Lincoln has been professionally refinished by long time Lincoln expert Carl Hall, and for those seeking noteworthy examples of this special and highly collectible car-there will be examples of this level to choose from, now or ever. Aficionados will seize upon this rare opportunity!
