This 1972 Chevy C10 was a frame off restoration done to show quality standards. We don’t see many truly high end OE restored pickups come through the shop, but this one is a standout.
The body and frame were taken down to bare metal and has new body work throughout. The paint is a base/clear and it was wet sanded and buffed. All of the trim on the truck has either been restored or is new and all of the rubber has been replaced on the truck from front to rear. All of the glass is show quality and has been replaced throughout.
The undercarriage on the truck has been restored to the same level as the topside of the C10. The frame was media blasted and refinished in the correct factory sheen. All of the suspension components have also been media blasted and refinished. All of the suspension components were rebuilt upon reassembly and all of the brake system has been replaced as well.
The interior features all new painted surfaces which were all stripped to bare metal like the exterior of the truck. The gauges have been rebuilt and all work correctly and the factory radio is also in good working order. Before they were recovered, the seat frames were blasted and refinished. The seats have reworked springs, new foam and mint covers. All the wiring in the truck is new from front to rear. The 4-Season AC system has been rebuilt and blows ice cold air.
The engine is a 350 CI that has been completely rebuilt. It sits in a highly detailed engine compartment and is fitted with correct lines and hoses. The rebuilt trans is a Turbo 400 and the rear end has 3.73 gears.
