This 1969 Chevelle is a killer restomod with a solid parts list and a ton of modernized features. If you are looking for a car with classic looks and modern performance, the Chevelle has a lot to offer. From the LS engine w/overdrive transmission to the upgraded suspension and braking system, you better hold on tight, because this Chevy flies!
The engine is a 6.0 LS with killer Holley fuel injection. It’s nicely tuned, has great street manners and gets after it when you mash the throttle. The engine uses 317 heads with ARM head studs, Comp Magnum pushrods, Lunati valve springs, and LS7 lifters. The transmission and a 700R4, 4-speed automatic with overdrive. It’s smooth-shifting around town and runs out nicely on the highway. The exhaust is a 2 ½” dual set up and sounds great! Keeping the engine cool is an aluminum radiator with dual electric fan.
Cosmetically, the car was taken off the frame and has all new paint and bodywork. The undercarriage and the frame have a wrinkle finish and all the suspension components have been painted. The paint is a base/clear and all of the chrome and stainless trim are new. Both the convertible top and all of the components have been rebuilt including the top, rear window, hydraulic cylinders, lines fittings and rebuilt pump. The interior is brand new and the gauges have been converted over to Dakota Digital.
The suspension and brake components have been rebuilt from front to rear. You’ll find QA1 coilovers on all 4 corners, completely new steering components, 4 wheel disc brakes, a larger sway bar, and tubular control arms. The ride is much more controlled overstock but still rides nick and smooth.
