Finished in Marina Blue over a black interior, the 1967 Malibu has been restored to very high standards and is like new throughout. The car was a complete rotisserie restoration that was just completed the car has just test miles at the moment.
The engine is a brand new TriStar 355 CI engine that made 412 HP and 420 lb/ft on the engine dyno. Flowing the fuel is a Quickfuel carb over an Edelbrock intake. A set of coated headers feed the dual exhaust system that has a nice really nice note. The transmission is a new Tremec TKO 500 from American Powertrain. The rear end is was built by Quick Performance and is a 9” housing with 31 spline axles, 3.50 gears with Trak-loc posi clutch and a 1330 yoke
While the body was off the frame, the suspension was completely disassembled and rebuilt. A new POL Stage 2 kit was installed which features 3-way adjustable shocks on all 4 corners and a new front and rear sway bar set. The kit comes with a 1.5” drop in the front and a 2” drop in the rear. This height adjustment gets a look that is more aggressive than stock, but won’t put you in the weeds either. The steering features a rebuilt PS box and a brand new steering pump. The brakes are a power front disc, rear drum setup that stops the Chevelle effortlessly.
The interior features all new parts from top to bottom and looks/is brand new. The gauges have been completely rebuilt, all the wiring is new, and everything is in good working order. The seats are now Scat buckets which provide quite a bit more support than the factory units. The rear seat although stock, is fully rebuilt and matches the front nicely.
