Chevy Novas are the hot ticket these days and the ’66 and ’67 are the best looking of the group. Take a small car, add a big motor and you have a recipe for speed. This 1966 Nova has just 15 miles since a complete rotisserie restoration to a solid Southern car. Every part on this Nova has been refinished or is new and the result is a show car that just begs to hit open road.

Original suspensions leave a bit to be desired but this Nova takes care of that problem from the get go. This Nova was built using the Heidts Superide II subframe which is a handling masterpiece. Utilizing tubular control arms, billet coil over shocks with polished springs, a rack and pinion steering unit and dropped spindles, this setup really rocks. The geometry is significantly improved over a stock car, adjustability options are numerous and the resulting handling and ride are sweet. This system has been optioned out with every chrome and polished part available from Heidts and looks as good as it rides. In the rear of the car sits the Heidts 4-Link kit set up with a Ford 9" rear end, and billet shocks. As with the front end, it is optioned out with all of the available chrome and polished parts. On all 4 corners, the Nova is equipped with Wilwood 11" rotors with Wilwood 4-piston calipers.

The engine is a ripping 350 which pumps out over 400 HP. The motor gets its air/fuel mixture from a Holley 650 with electronic choke which feeds into a polished Edelbrock intake. The engine uses Edelbrock aluminum heads and the ignition system is a MSD Pro-Billet distributor. The car has a nice Comp cam and exhales through a set of Hooker Super Comp headers and on the bottom, has a Moroso oil pan. All the fuel lines have Earl’s fasteners and braided fuel line. Keeping this sweet ride cool is a Be Cool radiator with dual Spal fans and keeping the driver cool is a Vintage Air system. The transmission is a built Turbo 350 with a shift kit and Hurst Pistol Grip shifter. The rear end has 3.50 gear, 31 Spline axles and lays down the rubber.

Pick an angle and the Nova is highly detailed wherever you look. The engine compartment is a sterile masterpiece and the undercarriage is equally mint. All of the trim and glass on the Nova are brand new and all of the interior parts are new as well. Take a gander inside the trunk and it is as fresh and clean as they get. Under the package tray sits a healthy little Optima battery with a turn off switch for periods of storage.

If you are familiar with these cars, just start adding up all of the part alone and you can see the value in this awesome build. The car was build using the best parts and they just don’t stop. Quality everywhere you look. If you want a show winner, you’re looking right at it.
