Finished in Black over a Colonial Vinyl and Raven Black interior, this 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 D code was a complete restoration around 7 years ago. Since then, it’s been in a large collection of Ford’s and makes for a very driveable and wonderful looking car.

Powered by a rebuilt 312 Y-Block attached to a 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic, this Fairlane is a great cruiser! The Y block falls into a smooth and runs nice and cool on our test drives. The carb has been swapped over to an updated Holley, and the exhaust flows through factory manifolds and out through the dual exhaust. The engine compartment is very nicely detailed and provides a nice backdrop of the engine.

The Fairlane 500 is finished in correct Black which is now a two-stage base/clear paint job. The original stainless has been restored and the chrome was done at the time of the restoration as well. The interior features all new soft parts, a new top, and all the gauges work correctly.

Underneath you’ll find a rebuilt suspension system and a completely redone brake system. The power brakes are strong and stop the Ford with ease. The steering is an updated power setup and is smooth operating without any excessive play.
