The car has 69,000 original miles and aside from seat covers and one paint job, we find it to be very original and to have all original rust free panels. The undercarriage retains all of the proper spot welds and still has the original red oxide primer on the floors. The car has never been undercoated and is one of the most solid examples that we have come across.

The engine is the matching number’s W72 Pontiac 400CI Y6 coded block(auto trans). The motor has the correct 6X heads with the correct Rochester carburetor. The transmission has the correct VIN stamping right behind the shift linkage on the driver side of the unit. Out back, the rear end is the correct PX coded axle which corresponds with the 3.23 Posi gear in 1977. To the best of our knowledge and the knowledge of past owners, the drive train has never been out of the car.
