Plymouth GTX

SOLD
  • Year: 1967
  • Make: Plymouth
  • Model: GTX

In 1967 Plymouth introduced the GTX as an optional package on the Belvedere model line. The GTX was a two-door vehicle that could be purchased in either convertible or hardtop configuration. It had all the performance options pre-installed and packaged in an overall stylish design. The excellent handling was courtesy of the leaf springs, modified shocks, ball joins, and torsion bars, and under the hood was a potent 440 cubic-inch eight-cylinder engine.

This very nicely restored two tone black and gold over black 1967 Plymouth GTX is powered by a torquey 440 RB NOM, coupled with the 727 Automatic Transmission, and Suregrip rear end. The trunk, engine compartment, and interior all show very high quality workmanship that simply could not be produced for the asking price of this gentleman’s dragster. This western car was fully restored 5 years ago, runs and drives as it did when it was new, and is ready for your weekend enjoyment.
