Bodied by Fisher and designed by Harley Earl and Bill Mitchell, the 1941 Cadillac Series 62 is a long, sleek, low slung rolling piece of artwork. Out front stands the impressive grill, and the flying Cadillac lady is perched right above the curve of the hood. Breaking the long hood up from the interior is a split windshield and rear wheel wells featured standard skirts which visually elongate the car. Serious chrome bumpers are standout features on both ends of the car, and the canvas roof is a class act. Cadillac sold a lot of cars in 1941 prior to WWII, however, the GM division only made 3100 Series 62 two-door convertibles, of which just small handful are on the road today.
This 1941 Cadillac Series 62 is an older restoration built to cruise. With a Chevy 350 engine and turbo 350 transmission, the car was a very reliable cruiser for the last owner and will take you to any car show or cruise in style. The paint on the car is approximately 10 years old and has some light patina from driving but is a solid 10 footer. The chrome and brightwork was redone at the time of the restoration. The interior has new carpeting and leather seats that look to be excellent condition originals. The top was replaced at the time of the restoration work and is in good overall condition.
