This car is an exceptionally nice combination of originality and high-quality restoration work. Between paint, new chrome and a mechanical refresh, nearly $40,000.00 was spent. The value here is obvious as 1980 Eldorados this well cared for just do not pop up for sale.

  • Year: 1980
  • Make: Cadillac
  • Model: Eldorado
  • Submodel: Biarritz
  • Mileage: 75,050
  • Color: Desert Sand Firemist
  • Interior: Tan

Finished in Desert Sand Firemist over a well kept tan interior, this 1980 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz has just over 75k miles since new. The car has had two owners since new, has been garage kept and has been driven an average of fewer than 2000 miles per year.

Early 1980’s GM cars were not known for high-quality paint jobs. The last owner of Cadillac commissioned Classic Car Studio to complete a bare-metal refinish on the Cadillac. After stripping the entire body down to the bare metal, no bodywork was found on the car and just three small dents were removed from the doors. The sheet metal is all original and the car has never been involved in an accident. All of the plastic filler panels were replaced, and all of the exterior stainless and chrome was refinished by Speed and Sport Chrome in Texas and is show quality triple plate. The paint is now a two-stage Glasurit, that is many times nicer than these cars ever had. The clear coat has been color sanded and is as slick as glass. All the cosmetic work was completed 3 years ago and the Eldo has been driven just 100 miles since the work was finished.

The interior of the car is in wonderful shape and is all original. The leather is still soft and supple, and nothing has ever been re-dyed. The AC blows cold and all gauges function properly.

Mechanically, the car is in excellent shape and drives out very well. The tires on the car are just 3 years old Pre-sale, the Cadillac received all new fluids throughout and is ready for your enjoyment.
