This fine looking Cobra came it with a bit of a stalling issue and a blown head gasket. We’re going to install some higher quality gaskets with nice race studs and we’ve already rebuilt the carb and solved the stalling issue.

1982 Porsche Carrera Targa
Pictured is a Porsche Targa with that came in with a “no-start” problem. We found that the ignition control module was totally INOP which is a common “no-start” cause on these older air-cooled 911′s . We’ll also be changing all of the fluids and addressing a few minor issues.
Pictured is our new technician Joe, who claims to work best under the influence of Mozart – notice the headphones. Very interesting indeed…

1948 Ford F3
This beautiful 1948 Ford F3 came in for service today with a short list of maintenance items on the to-do list. This truck is owned by a local manufacturing company and sees some road/parade use. In mean time, we get to keep it perfectly maintained.

1941 Cadillac mechanical overhaul
This gorgeous 1941 Cadillac is in for a mechnical “freshening.” This photo shows the car right before we pulled the motor for a complete reseal, repaint and possible minor overhaul depending on what we find.

Porsche 930 engine rebuild
The assembly of the Porsche motor is nearly complete. We’re waiting on a few O-rings and she’ll be all wrapped up and ready for reinstallation.

Saab 9-3 engine work
JS brought us his Saab that was making a pretty bad clanking noise in the engine. Pictured is the engine out of the car and ready for repairs.
1947 Plymouth restoration
Everything came together pretty well on this motor with the exception of the crank. The original had a hairline fracture and finding a new one was quite the chore. Luckily after 3 attempts we located a crank in Atlanta that was in good condition and now the motor is back together and ready to be dropped back in the car.

After waiting on our new head stud kit, modified oil pump and hydraulic chain tensioner, all the parts are finally in and the reaasembly process has begun.
