The engine is a 454 with dual Edelbrocks capped with a Weiland 671 blower that is attached to a 700R4 tranny with a 2200-2600 stall converter. This little '55 jumps off the line and the motor is tuned for cruising, not the 1/4 mile, so she runs cool and reliably.

Supplementing the slick orange paint are shaved door handles, recessed antennae, oak bed complete with stainless trim and fuel hatch, side exhaust pipes and impeccably finished undercarriage. The entire frame has been powder coated which will yield in a much longer lasting finish than conventional paint. The builder used Spal door poppers to operate the doors from the outside and conventional handles on the interior.
