JB's 1969 Camaro Restoration
JB brought us this 1969 Camaro that was in need of a full restoration and we are doing a super clean build for him. The body was first stripped down to bare metal via a media blast and we started from the ground up by replacing all metal with rust or structural damage. The body work is stunning looking with the tight new gaps and paint that is as smooth as glass. Awesome work Charles! Powering the ride is a ZZ427 power plant hooked to a 5-speed Tremec TKO 600 transmission. Modern running gear will include a complete suspension from Heidts that includes a four link rear suspension with a built Moser rear end. Up front we have coil over shocks, tubular control arms, dropped spindles and a beefy new sway bar. The rear end is a built Moser unit and Wilwood brakes will be providing the stopping power. Keeeping things cool up front is one of Griffin Radiators killer looking units with one of their gorgeous radiator shrouds that will enclose the dual electric fans.
