This 1968 Chevy C10 is the recipient of a frame-off restoration and was built as a reliable restomod. 

 

The truck has new white paint throughout and a stripped and refinished frame. The glass is new throughout and the wing windows have been deleted and power windows were added. The chrome is new, the trim is in good condition and all the rubber has been replaced. The engine compartment is finished in that same clean white with the wheel wells being done in black. 

 

The engine is a rebuilt 5.3 which runs the Holley Terminator X system. This system not only controls the engine but also the transmission as well. Goodby junky old computer, hello brand new system will all new components and a wire harness as well. The transmission is a rebuilt 4l80e and the rear end is a rebuilt Ford 9” with 3.50 gearing. The truck has headers and a new 2.5” aluminized exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. Keeping the engine cool is a large aluminum radiator with an electric fan. 

 

The interior is all new and features a TCI leather interior kit complete with a new seat, door panels, and dash. The cab floor and firewall have full Dynomat to control heat and vibrations, and the carpeting is new on top of that. The truck has a brand new American Autowire harness throughout which includes a modern style fuse box. This connects to the new Holley engine harness for complete reliability. Modern gauges have been fit into the factory surround. Keeping the cab cool is a Vintage Air unit with digital controls. It has all modern components and will keep you cool even in the hottest weather. 

 

The truck has a nicely modernized suspension set up that handles much better than stock, has a more aggressive ride height, but is still comfortable and well suited to daily driving. Upfront the truck has CPP upper and lower control arms and a larger CPP sway bar. The truck uses RideTech shocks on all 4 corners which are super smooth and have damping adjustment. The truck was scaled when the suspension was set up so it has the correct spring weight on all 4 corners. Bring the truck to a stop is a set of Wilwood brakes, with 6 piston calipers up front and 4 piston calipers in the rear. The wheels are high-end Forgelines so you’ll never have to worry about breaking one! The C10 has been properly aligned, has a tight steering box and is at home both on the highway and around town.
