Built in San Jose, California, this 1966 Mustang Fastback was a California car up until the time it was restored approximately 7 years ago. It has excellent solid metal, tight mechanicals, and is a very nicely done, high condition car you can drive anywhere.

The car was a rotisserie restoration and was taken down to bare metal. Everything from the floorboards to the engine compartment have a high level of detail. The floors are finished in black gloss and are about as clean as you can get. The chrome has been replated, and all of the stainless has been restored as well. All of the seals were replaced during the restoration.

The interior has all new soft parts, new wiring, and a RetroSound radio. Keeping things cool is a modern air conditioning system with under dash vents. The car sports a Pony interior, all new panels, new carpeting, a new headliner and all new padding under the carpeting.

All of the suspension and steering components were rebuilt during the restoration and all of the hard parts were stripped and painted. All of the lines, bushings and hoses have been replaced, and the front end features SSBC disc brakes with an SSBS master cylinder and booster

The engine compartment is a detailed thing of beauty and has a glossy finish which surrounds the Ford blue engine. All of the lines and hoses have been replaced during the restoration, and air conditioning was added to the car during the restoration. The cooling system has been gone through and the 289 engine was rebuilt.

For the Ford enthusiast looking for an excellent driving Pony car, this Fastback is a great looking and even better driving classic.
