This 1972 Dodge Challenger is a S code car that has undergone a complete rotisserie nut and bolt restoration. The undercarriage is as clean as the top of the car and absolutely shines like new. A bit more detailing has gone into it than when it was new, however, we’re not complaining. The results look awesome.

Originally a 340 car, the Challenger restoration was completed with a completely rebuilt 440 Magnum motor that really tears up the tarmac. The rebuilt motor has been set up to run on unleaded hi-octane gas, so you don’t have to worry about lead substitutes or octane booster. The motor falls into a nice a lopey idle after start up and burns rubber at your command under hard acceleration. You can row through the gears with the sweet 4-speed pistol grip shifter and the Sure Grip rear end is set up with a very usable 3.55 ratio that works great for both acceleration and highway driving.

Driving the Challenger is a peach with the help of power steering and power brakes. The suspension and steering have been replaced from front to rear, giving the car excellent ride quality and handling. A reproduction set of classic tires gives the car a great retro look and stance. The Dodge is a great cruiser out on the highway, and a lot of fun from stoplight to stoplight as well.

The interior of the Dodge has been nicely restored with all new carpeting, a new headliner, and new seat covers. The gauges and door panels are the originals and in good condition.

Whether you are looking for an awesome MOPAR show car, or a great cruiser, this Challenger aims to please.
