As the Muscle Car era came to a close, Chrysler had their finger on the performance car market in the United States. They knew what their followers wanted and they delivered big. The high performance offering spanned a few different models that could be equipped with high horsepower motors, a wild color palette, and prices that were designed to cut away at the competition.

Built at the Lynch Road Plant in Michigan, this 1970 Dodge Super Bee is finished in Top Banana Yellow and is equipped with the potent 440 6-pack power plant, 4 speed transmission and Dana 60 rear end. This combo rolled off the showroom floor as serious as death and ready to tear up opponents on both the street and track. The motor, transmission, and rear and have all been rebuilt and the motor is a Chrysler replacement block that is dated 7 weeks before the build date of the car. The motor makes serious power and lays down rubber at will on the pavement. Rowing through the gears with the pistol grip shifter gives the true MOPAR muscle car experience and you never have to worry about reliability with a Dana 60 rear end. The car was built by a lifelong MOPAR enthusiast so the engine compartment is very correct and tidy. The Super Bee is an original N96 Air Grabber hood car and boy does it set off that engine compartment.

The car was treated to a rotisserie restoration and has been only been driven to shows the past two years. The lines are dead on and the body with its extra long panels are incredibly straight. The underside, engine and trunk are finished in the correct Top Banana yellow with correct black overspray markings. The car has original glass which is in good condition, all new chrome and badges, polished trim and the "Go Wing." The interior had been restored to like new condition and has the desirable buckets and pistol grip shifter. All of the soft interior parts are new as of the restoration.

All is well with the world when this car is out on the road. It’s smooth, powerful and ready to transport you to the show and home with your trophies.
