Designed as a modern rendition of the Cobra by Chrysler, the concept version of the Dodge Viper received such high praises that Chrysler decided to make of go of the production. The centerpiece of the car is the engine, a large displacement truck motor that was originally deemed too heavy for sports car use. During the design of the car, Lamborghini, which was at that time owned by Chrysler did a redesign of the engine using an all aluminum block and aluminum heads. In final form the motor weighed in at just over 700 LBS and produced a stout 400 HP. The viper, which did not feature any driver assist features such as traction control or anti lock brakes did indeed have a very Cobra-esque feel. Chrysler had built a "driver’s" car.

Finished in Black over a Grey interior, this 1995 Dodge Viper has just 11,000 miles since new. The car is in excellent original condition, has a beautifully kept interior, is free from paintwork and sports the original tires which are also in fine condition. A presale checkover has been completed by the dealership and the car has been given a clean bill of health.

For the Viper enthusiast looking for an excellent 1st generation Viper, this low mileage example is your best bet.
