An evolution of the Ferrari 308, which was first offered in the 1970’s, the Ferrari 328 is generally considered to be the best performing and most reliable in the line. After almost 10 years of development, the 328 was first released in GTS and GTB form. Not only was the 328 one of the last cars to be engineered under the reign of Enzo Ferrari, but unlike other models, it does not require the engine out of the car for the typically costly belt service. The electronics are far more simplistic than on later models, keeping this car rather "mechanical" in nature. The Bosch fuel injection system had some minor refinements and are generally very reliable and saw use in a number of other vehicles from this era. Performance for the 328 was exceptional for the 1980’s, making the dash to 60 in under 6 seconds. The 328 weighed just over 3,100 lbs so it is comparable to many modern cars in the power-to-weight department.

This gorgeous example is finished in stunning Red over a Black interior and has just over 27,000 miles since new with a clean Experian AutoCheck Report. The car has been very well kept and features an original leather interior with only minor wear over the years and no rips or tears in the seats. The carpeting has been protected by an extra set of mats and has really stood up to the test of time. Overall the the paint in in excellent condition. There are a few small touch ups on the nose and the paint was just fully conditioned and has an excellent shine. The wheels are in excellent condition, and most likely have been repainted along the way. The spare under the bonnet is wearing the original tire, and the removable Targa top in in excellent original condition.

Accompanying the is a complete tool set, original books and records going back to 2003. During that time, the Ferrari has had a total of 3 belt services, numerous complete fluid services, tune ups, a new clutch, 134a retrofitted A/C, and other minor service repairs. The last belt service was completed in June of 2014.

For the sports car collector, this Ferrari offers the opportunity to own a well serviced, aspiring classic early in its appreciation curve.
