This 1955 Chevy 210 is finished in Torch Red over a red and white mild custom hot rod interior. The ’55 has all original sheet metal from front to rear. In 2010, it was purchased and gifted with a wonderful frame off restoration. In typical full restoration fashion, the car was stripped down to bare metal to give the body a fresh start. The car had, and currently has a laser straight body. The panel fit is awesome and the gaps on the car are excellent. The car received a base coat clear coat refinish and has been wet-sanded and buffed to give it a wet looking show car finish. All of the original stainless has been redone, and the chrome is all new. The custom interior is extremely clean and makes it happen from top to bottom. Everything is new, crisp and expertly finished.

The ’55 is a fantastic car to cruise and fly down the highway. Its simple build nature has given it a very pure hotrod feel. The car is lowered 4" all the way around and the stance is spot on while keeping a great ride and adequate ground clearance. The car has a completely rebuilt suspension and the power front disc set up makes bringing the car to a dead stop a cinch.

Every part of the car feels right with the world from the minute you sit down in the driver’s seat and turn the key. The motor kicks over with just a light pump of the gas and the car falls into a smooth idle immediately. The triple Rochesters are perfectly tuned at idle and at wide open throttle. The 210 has a very mild cam and provides brisk acceleration on demand without sacrificing any type of drivability. The T-10 transmission pops off smooth shifts and the 2.73 rear gears offer excellent highway cruising capability. The 350 engine was completely rebuilt at the time of the restoration and is the perfect cruiser power plant for this car. It’s reliable, quick and easy to service.

For the Chevy enthusiast looking for a really pure car that is as clean as the day is long, this car is downright gorgeous and the photos do not do the paint and bodywork justice.
